Jo Graham’s Shred Team is a private Facebook Group for normal women over the age of 40 that is devoted to improving fitness, health and wellbeing in a fun way.

It’s an at-home workout and fitness group with proven results. It’s run by me, Joanne Graham.

“Just my luck!” I thought as lockdown began. But little did I know that I was about to discover something AMAZING!

Until lockdown, I’d been running weekly taekwondo and fitness classes for over 20 years. Someone asked me to do my classes online to keep everyone’s spirits up. “Why not?” I thought.

Consistency is essential. But consistency depends on keeping workouts short, motivational, and fun. The sweet spot is 15-minutes. I started.

I love it and so does everyone else because it enables us to stay healthy and get back in shape.

Jo Graham’s Shred Team is a private Facebook Group devoted to improving fitness, health and wellbeing in a light-hearted way. It’s a unique at-home workout and fitness group with proven results. It’s especially geared up for everyday women over the age of 40 or thereabouts. It’s run by me, Joanne Graham.

It’s a group of “normal people” who understand the importance of improving their health and getting back into shape. I love motivating others, who, in turn, encourage and inspire me. It’s a group with a fantastic exchange of energy between me and each other.

It’s a group for those looking to improve their digestion, boost their energy levels, lose a few inches and just feel amazing again!

So why should you give it a try? After all, you’ve probably started other fitness programs or diets in the past and for whatever reason, they didn’t deliver or you gave up.

Everyone wants to be fit and healthy and to feel amazing. Most people, though, are just like me and lack the super-human self-discipline necessary to exercise and keep going every day. Most of us need encouragement, we need to feel that we’re not alone and most of all we need to feel that we are having fun. Because unless we actually enjoy it, we’re unlikely to keep it up.

My workout is unique because there are not many middle-aged, mum-of-two, black-belt, marathon-running, fitness trainers out there! For years I’ve taught fitness and Taekwondo with my husband. And no worries, I promise not to take things too seriously 🙂

I believe that the secret to feeling amazing is having fun. Give it a try, you’ll love it and feel amazing!

Creating Something Amazing

“I’m Starting it”, I said. 

“Just my luck!” I thought as lock down began. But little did I know that I was about to discover something AMAZING!

Before the world went mad, I’d been enthusiastically running weekly taekwondo and fitness classes for years. I love inspiring others and giving classes had been part of my life for the past 20 years.

I was determined to stay active. What else could I do? I had a small Facebook Group for members of my fitness club. I was asked me if I was planning to do my classes online to keep everyone’s spirits up. “Why not” I thought to myself and decided to give it a go!

Consistency is essential for achieving the powerful benefits of a workout routine. And consistency depends on keeping workouts short, motivational and interesting. The sweet spot is 15-minutes. I started.

I got into the groove and after a couple of weeks I was enjoying it. Everyone was getting results and the feedback was fantastic. My own motivation kept growing and growing. What a journey it’s turned out to be. I went from being unable to give classes because of lockdown to giving classes every morning and much more. Everyone loves it.

Just imagine! It’s been proven time and time again that regular exercise can reduce illness, help to manage weight, lower blood pressure, boost energy levels and mood and help to lower stress and improve sleep.

I mean, if a pill existed that could deliver all that, we’d all be fighting to get our hands on them, wouldn’t we?

But when it comes to exercise we are masters of excuses. The list is endless: not enough time, boring, not motivated, unable to stick with it, too stressed, too busy, not that sporty, injured, unsupportive partner, bad genes, kids won’t let me and so on…

I wanted my online workout and group to destroy all of these excuses. At its core, it’s a 15-minute fun and simple shred. I’m also on a mission to motivate and determined to get you hooked. My desire is for everyone in my group to reach that wonderful moment when you realize that it’s great and something that you never want to miss.

Scott Graham
Scott’s my long-suffering husband, Scott is a 4th Dan Master in Taekwondo and former British Champion and European Bronze Medallist, he has completed numerous marathons as well as the Scott Snowdonia full marathon and is a keen mountain walker.

There is nothing he doesn’t know about fitness and nutrition and loves to motivate and help others see weakness as a key to strength!

Lea Twigg
Lea is my niece, she lives in Germany and is a qualified yoga teacher and qualified plant-based nutritionist. Starting in January, she’s going to be doing a weekly yoga session in the online group.
